Each day we are getting closer to finishing Baby Girl's Room...only five-ish weeks to go!!!
We decided that in addition to her closet, we wanted to find an armoire for her room. They were all WAY too expensive so we decided to take another route.
We found this cute little number on Craig's List for a GREAT price. It was originally designed as an "old-er school" TV cabinet. All of her furniture is white so my hubby chalk painted the outside white (and sanded the edges to give an antique-y vibe) and the inside grey.
We added some cuteness with the pink knobs...
He hung a rod for the clothes and added a little shelf for her shoes (or what not) and VIOLA!!!

I'm seriously impressed! I love to see old furniture being upcycled or re-purposed but I would never have come up with that idea for an old TV cabinet. The little armoire looks amazing in pink and is just perfect with the rail inside. Your little girl has very clever parents.
